The abreviation NLO stands for the NICK LEVINOVSKY ORCHESTRA and implies not only the Nick Levinovsky Big Band, but a variety of purposely organized musical groups providing live entertainment for different occasions. Here's a list of just a few of the ensembles available through NLO.
 

The Nick Levinovsky Big Band
A 16 piece concert band featuring Nick Levinovsky's original compositions and arrangements of well-known evergreens. The band personnel include some of the top New York City jazz musicians like tenor man Andy Middleton, trumpeter Andy Gravish, trombonist Noah Bless, bassist Boris Koslow, drummer Darrel Pellegrini and vocalist Kathy Jenkins.

  The Nick Levinovsky Orchestra
A 16 piece swing band performing the classic nostalgia repertoire of the great orchestra leaders like Glenn Miller, Artie Shaw, Count Basie, Duke Ellington, Tommy Dorsey, etc. The band plays the greats like Take The "A" Train, April In Paris, Tuxedo Junction, Moonlight Serenade, String of Pearls, etc. Perfect for listening or swing dancing. Vocalist can be added for that extra "touch of class".
  Eight Easy Pieces
A reduced version of the swing band with Nick's special 8 piece arrangements providing a smaller band perfect for ballroom & swing dancing, weddings, parties and corporate events. The large repertoire includes such hits as Caravan, Sweet Georgia Brown, In The Mood, Stardust, etc. Vocalist can be added for that extra "touch of class".
  Nick's Five Alive
A sophisticated jazz quintet - piano - bass- drums - sax - vocal performing contemporary jazz repertoire as well as favorite songs of the great American Composers like Cole Porter, George Gershwin, Harold Arlen and Dave Brubeck to mention a few.
 

The Nick Levinovsky Trio
Perhaps the most popular version of jazz ensemble - piano - bass - drums, very suitable for more intimate situations but can also sound powerful and concert like. Nick's Russian heritage brings an ethnic flavor to this sophisticated group.
 

Nick Levinovsky - Solo Piano
As a classically trained pianist, Nick's solo piano playing has delighted and entertained audiences in the finest hotels and restaurants in New York City as well as private parties and corporate events. An endless repertoire covers the best of the great American Song Book as well as some poplular Russian/Jewish tunes. Sophisticated, intimate and romantic.
 

Kathy Jenkins - Vocalist
A seasoned jazz vocalist posessing an extensive repertoire and library. Kathy brings a brightness, excitement and energy to the bandstand. Available as a guest vocalist.
  Kathy Jenkins' "G.I. Sweethearts"
For those looking for a show with a bit of 40's nostalgia, the "sweethearts" provide a cabaret flavored act with characters, patter, choreography and song reminiscent of the Andrews Sisters. Contemporary vocal arrangements include Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy, Bei Mir Bist Du Schoen, Rum And Coca-Cola, etc. ADVANCE BOOKING REQUIRED
